Today we took a cruise down the Acadian Coastal Drive to check out the Escuminac Beach and Camping. Just a 45 minute drive from Miramichi, the beach has soft sand, rolling dunes and is a must-visit location on a hot summers day! We also caught a glimpse of the tall ship Peacemaker sailing into port. The ship will have tours at the Chatham wharf Friday, Saturday and Sunday this weekend. If you’re interested in learning more about the history of these ships which once called the Miramichi home, it’s a definite must!
